Pulse explores how strategic branding can help a product stand out in an increasingly competitive beverage market. The project focused on creating a distinctive visual identity that balances function with personality, positioning electrolyte soda as both refreshing and visually engaging. From flavour development and packaging design to creative direction and brand storytelling, every touchpoint was designed to capture attention while maintaining a cohesive brand experience.

Challanges

Translating flavour into colour, mood, and emotion.

What if flavour behaved more like a personality? This project explored how colour, typography, imagery, and creative direction could be used to give each flavour its own character. Rather than relying on traditional beverage branding, Pulse was designed as a collection of distinct moods that consumers could connect with emotionally. The challenge was finding the balance between individuality and consistency, creating unique experiences without losing the recognizable identity of the brand as a whole. The result is a flavour system where every variety feels intentionally different, yet unmistakably Pulse.

Pulse was an opportunity to explore ideas beyond the boundaries of a traditional brief. By combining branding, packaging, and creative direction, the project evolved into a complete visual world rather than a single product concept. More than anything, it reinforced the importance of creating work that feels distinctive, intentional, and impossible to confuse with anything else.
